Electrical Work Safety Procedures

Since established in 2002, H&H Electric has not had any lost time accidents. This is a testament to our safety electrical work procedures we utilize on every project. Electrical Safety in the workplace is the main focus for all of the employees and H&H Electric. We understand that for a safe working environment everyone must work together.

All of our crews have access to the highest level of safety gear available. No matter what the project requires (Arc Flash PPE, H2S Monitors, FR clothing or site specific PPE, etc.) – H&H Electric company will be onsite and prepared to address and mitigate safety concerns.

Our Safe Practices:

1Daily meetings are held to discuss each individual project. These ensures everyone is aware of the dangers and the procedures to safely complete the job.

2H&H Electric is a drug free work place. We pre-screen/test all new employees and enforce random testing, testing based on reasonable cause and follow up testing.

3We provide site specific safety equipment as necessary. This includes but is not limited to Arc Flash Suits, H2S Monitors, 4- Gas Monitors and Hi-Vis Clothing.

4H&H is a member of ISNetworld, Browz, and the National Safety Council. Our crews are OQ/CT6, and Safeland certified and hold TWIC Cards.

Think Safety

First Aid Kits Fire Extinguishers are mandatory on all equipment. Training/Certifications

All personnel are properly trained for all equipment. This includes operation, maintenance and emergency procedures.
PLC and Soft Start training for Allen Bradley and Siemens equipment.
Annual training for National Electrical Code Changes/Updates

Because of our safety record and the way we organize and manage our projects, H&H Electric has grown into a full service contracting and engineering company. We maintain excellent bonding and insurance coverage’s. Our proven safety record along with our insurance capabilities allows H&H Electric to work on projects our competitors cannot.

Safety is not a part time job

H&H Electric is a member of ISNetworld which helps make our safety policies and procedures transparent to all interested parties. Our crews are Safeland Certified and maintain TWIC cards.

In addition, H&H has OQ qualified personal to maintain the highest level of safety.

At the center of our safety agenda is the daily Job Safety Assessments (JSA), tool-box safety talks, and H2S training among other tasks. Our daily goal is to educate and train our employees so that they return home in the same condition as when they began their work day.
